Easier way to reach Tirumala

If we go through steps (Alipiri) at Tirupathi, it will take 4 hours to reach Tirumala. There is a place called "Srivari Mettu", 14km away from Tirupathi. Buses ply from Tirupathi to "Sreevari Mettu". It hardly takes 1.5 hour to reach Tirumala from Sreevari Mettu.
Please note that TTD is operating free buses from Alipiry to Sreevari mettu.

What about your route? How can i reach the base of chandragiri (srivari mettu)?
Thanks

Dear Dr Nava Kishore,

Yes, TTD operates free buses both from Alipiri and Railway Station. It is highly recommended to go on barefoot.
Also please note that this route is open only during the day time.
